Companies to Watch
is pleased to announce Integware as This Weeks Colorado Company to Watch.
Colorado Lending Source, Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation and the
Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade, in conjunction
with Colorado Companies to Watch congratulates CEO Chris Kay and staff on this
accomplishment. Integware is expecting to double its workforce from 2007 to 2009;
with less than a 1% turnover in staff.
Sales revenue has increased at an even larger rate.
Integware, Inc provides systems integration services and
software products for medical device manufacturers that help them with FDA
regulatory compliance as well as delivering products to market that are safer,
of higher quality, faster, and less expensive.
According to CEO Chris Kay,
“Integware’s unique strengths include its commitment to a market-focused
approach; and, its commitment to its core values. Integware has focused on
developing products and services that help medical device manufacturers deliver
their products more safely, with higher quality, meet FDA regulatory
requirements, all with less time-to-market and less cost. Our history is as a
systems integration company. However, in 2007, we began developing products for
the life sciences market. Beginning in December of 2007, we signed a reseller
agreement with a worldwide leader in the PLM market. They rebrand our products
and sell them throughout their direct and indirect channels. By focusing on the
med device market, we have developed many specialized services and now products
to meet the needs of this market. We see much opportunity ahead in serving the
needs of this market.”
When Chris Kay purchased the company 5 years ago, the company was in a drastic
decline, since then they have become the enterprise-wide primary PLM services
provider to leading medical device companies. Profitable every year, with no
external investors or long-term debt; Integware has grown tremendously in the
last few years while maintaining quality services and products.
Another
reason Integware is a Colorado Company to Watch is their commitment to
company culture; priding themselves on creating high quality jobs and
filling the position with high quality people. Integware also supports
many philanthropic programs. Integware will show their appreciation
for their staff, and supports a Celebration Reception on October 13th,
2009 at their offices. For more information please contact

Colorado
Companies to Watch is a dynamic program honoring growing companies that
are developing valuable products and services, creating quality jobs, enriching
communities, and building new industries throughout Colorado. High performance, second-stage companies
which account for most of the economic growth, community development and
economic independence in our state. The State of Colorado supports Colorado
Companies to Watch through the Colorado Office of Economic Development
& International Trade both in leadership and sponsorship. This statewide effort sought out nominations
from all sectors and communities and is not industry specific. The winners represent a broad range of
economic sectors and regions of our great state. Companies to Watch (CTW) is a
national awards program developed by the Edward Lowe Foundation to honor
second-stage companies which has been successful in other states, but Colorado
is the first to roll out a yearlong celebration highlighting one of the fifty
award winning companies each week. To learn more about Colorado Companies to Watch, become a sponsor, or to nominate a
