Integware and MatrixOne Enter into Business Alliance to Deliver Product Compliance Solutions to the Medical Device Industry

The alliance will enable small to medium-sized businesses to take advantage of PLM to significantly reduce the time-to-market for medical devices and ease FDA compliance efforts.

Fort Collins, CO, March 29th, 2006-Integware, a leading provider of PLM consulting and implementation services, today announced that it has entered into a reseller agreement with MatrixOne, a leading provider of collaborative product lifecycle management (PLM) solutions for the value chain™.  Under the agreement, Integware will deliver rapidly implemented FDA compliance and process automation solutions together with the Matrix PLM Platform™ to small to medium-sized medical device companies.

Medical device companies that still rely upon paper-based systems to meet FDA requirements put themselves at risk of being out of compliance with 21 CFR part 820 and operate at a competitive disadvantage due to the extra time and effort required to bring their products to market.  PLM solutions provide an electronic workflow that streamlines quality assurance and compliance, while helping to improve profitability through improved business process and faster time-to-market.“  This alliance will enable our clients to draw upon the strengths of both companies,” said Chris Kay, CEO of Integware.  “Our medical device domain expertise combined with the Matrix PLM Platform™ will create a powerful tool for medical device businesses that need to reduce their time-to-market while taking advantage of the streamlined compliance and approval processes that PLM solutions enable.”

As a part of the reseller agreement, Integware will focus on providing FDA compliance and product lifecycle automation solutions using the Matrix PLM Platform™.  Integware’s FastTrak Med Device™ is a single comprehensive suite of solutions that enable small to medium-sized medical device companies to achieve compliance throughout their product lifecycle, drastically reduce product development costs and deliver products to market quicker than their competition.
